Not For Me collects nothing. It has no account, no server, and no analytics. It never connects to the internet except when you tap purchase or restore, and that connection is to Apple, not to us. Everything you type stays on your device.
The preferences you save, the words Not For Me expands them into, which of those words you switched off, and what you search for are stored only in Not For Me's own storage area on your device. They are never uploaded, never backed up to any server of ours, and never shared with anyone.
The food database is a copy of a public dataset that ships inside the app. Searching it sends nothing anywhere; the search runs locally.
If you delete Not For Me, everything it stored goes with it.
Nothing. We do not collect personal data, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, or crash reports. Not For Me contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
We do not know who you are, what you searched for, or what you avoid eating. We could not tell you even if you asked, because that information never reaches us.
Not For Me writes diagnostic logs to the operating system's private log, which stays on your device. Those logs deliberately exclude everything you typed: no preference words, no search terms, no product names. They contain only counts and timings.
If you buy Not For Me Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. Apple tells the app one thing: whether a valid purchase exists. We receive no payment details, no email address, and no name. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Not For Me is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Privacy laws give you rights to access, correct, and delete personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. To remove everything Not For Me stored on your device, delete the app.
If a future version of Not For Me ever collects anything, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
